After a whole lot of contemplation, I've decided that the time is right to discontinue selling on both my Pippaloo dot come site and my Etsy shop. Both are now closed.
Moving forward I will definitely continue to post here on the blog occasionally and post pics on Instagram as well. I do still very much enjoy my dolls, crafting and the creative process, however I realized that I am unable to sustain releasing foods and promoting in a consistent month to month format, unable to give to it the full attention and presence an online shop requires. With so many changes in my life and in the fandom I feel that the timing is right.
I will definitely continue to make foods and create scenes with the dolls- that was what originally drove me to open my shop- that and the desire to challenge and hone my skills. And none of that has changed. Stepping back from selling will enable me to explore projects that have remained in the background and back burner for years. I also look forward to renewing my love of sewing and crafting for the dolls. The food was just a small piece of the whole. I am looking forward to all my new projects and adventures in the 18 inch doll world!
It would be negligent of me not to take a moment to thank all of my fabulous clients from over the years. Thank you so much for helping to challenge, validate and encourage me and my work. I loved sharing the joy of creating and collecting with those who are just as passionate as I am about doll sized bits and bobs. Thank You! Hope to see you on IG, the forums or at an AG store in the future!
